In addition to being dancers, our teachers and troupe members are also students of Middle Eastern culture and art. We can often provide background information for stories on the Middle East. Some of the topics we could address include Middle Eastern celebrations, the role of women in Islamic culture, the purpose of dance in Middle Eastern culture and the contributions of Middle Easterners to U.S. culture and arts.
